2015 SHU Men's Soccer Schedule
FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Sacred Heart men's soccer head coach Joe Barroso announced the Pioneers' 2015 schedule on Wednesday. The Pioneers open the season at home against Vermont on August 28th at 7 p.m.
SHU then travels to Long Island on August 31st to take on another America East opponent, Stony Brook. The Pioneers return to Campus Field to host Yale on September 4th before playing their next seven games on the road. That road swing starts at Army West Point on September 8th, followed by matched at Holy Cross on September 11th and at Saint Peter's on September 15th.
The Pioneers open Northeast Conference play at Robert Morris on October 9th and at Saint Francis U on October 11th. After a game at Bryant on October 18th, Sacred Heart will play at Columbia on the 21st to wrap up the road trip. The Pioneers host Central Connecticut State on October 23rd, then travel to two-time defending NEC champions St. Francis Brooklyn on October 25th.
Sacred Heart closes the regular season with home conference games against LIU Brooklyn and Fairleigh Dickinson. The Blackbirds come to Campus Field on October 30 and FDU comes to Fairfield to wrap up the NEC slate on November 8th. Sandwiched in between those final two conference games is a matchup with NJIT on November 4th.
