West Long Branch, NJ. – The Sacred Heart women's tennis team won in convincing fashion, 7-0 at Monmouth University on Tuesday afternoon. The victory was the first collegiate coaching win for first-year head coach William Boe-Wiegaard's.
SHU made some changes to the lineup for the 7-0 win, moving freshman Kiera Tobia up from number three singles to number two and pairing Adrianne Alfonso with freshman Laura Crivei on third doubles for the match up against Monmouth University on Tuesday.
The Pioneers return to action on October 12 when they travel to Quinnipiac.
