
Women's Ice Hockey Draws With Holy Cross

SHELTON, Conn.— The Sacred Heart women's hockey tied 1-1 with Holy Cross on Saturday afternoon at the Sports Center of Connecticut.
After a goalless first period, SHU opened the scoring with Meghan Kebalka at the 16:46 mark assisted by Jayne Lewis on the power play.
Victoria Young equalized for the Crusaders in the third period at the 8:24 mark assisted by Grace Peluso and Katie MacCuaig to take the game into overtime.
Holy Cross out shot SHU 36-17 on the night. Erban recorded 32 saves in goal for the Pioneers and Julia Pelletier made 16 stops for Holy Cross
The Pioneers are back in action on Friday Feb 2. against Franklin Pierce at 7:30 pm.
