Box Score The Sacred Heart University men's soccer team fell 3-2 to Northeast Conference visitor Central Connecticut State University on Park Avenue Field Saturday. The Pioneers end the season at 2-11-3 overall and 1-5-3 in league play, while the Blue Devils finish 1-31-1 on the season and 1-8-0 in NEC action.
Segunda Navarro tallied a goal and an assist for the Pioneers. CCSU's Jason Dubrovich made 14 saves, with 12 in the second-half, to earn the victory in goal.
First-Half:
- Eddie Yepes gave CCSU the 1-0 lead, driving a free kick from the top of the box, just inside the far post
- Robert Strain made three saves in the half
- The Blue Devils had a 6-4 edge in shots
- SHU earned four corner kicks, to the two for CCSU

- The Pioneers tied the score when Segunda Navarro beat the CCSU defenders and went low to the keepers left at48:26
- SHU went in front 40 seconds later, when Altin Celaj collected a rebound of a Navarro shot and gave SHU the 2-1 advantage
- CCSU tied the score with 5:24 to play as Panos Ravanis collected a loose ball after the keeper came off his line
- The Blue Devils hit the cross bar in the final 90 seconds
First Overtime:
- Yepes scored his second, collecting a contested ball near the touch line and pushing it into the net 3:04 into the period
