Box Score NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University baseball team fell to NEC-foe Central Connecticut, 5-1 on the road Sunday afternoon. With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 12-21 on the year and 6-6 in the NEC, while CCSU improves to 14-12 and 6-4 in the NEC on the season.
Thomas Pinto took the loss after giving up three earned runs in three innings of work. Jake Frasca went 3-for-3 and drove in the lone run for the Pioneers.
