Ocel Tabbed NEWHA Rookie of the Week

WITHROP, MA.- Sacred Heart University Women's Ice Hockey first-year Alexa Ocel was named NEWHA Rookie of the Week for her three assist weekend at Saint Michael's. The Pioneers return to action Saturday Feb. 22 while they await on the team that they will play in the NEWHA Tournament Semifinals. Puck-drop is set for 1:00 p.m.
Ocel tallied a total of three assists this weekend against Saint Michael's including two in Friday's 5-0 shutout. She currently leads the freshman class in points with 16 and she is third on team in assists with 11. She also has five goals on the year for the Pioneers.
