Equestrian Named Reserve High Point Team at Trinity

First-year Lauren Radi captured High Point Rider

SIMSBURY, Conn.- A day after the team competed at Sweet Briar College, the Sacred Heart University equestrian team returned to Intercollegiate Horse Show Association competition finishing as the Reserve High Point Team at Trinity College on Sunday .

Of Note:

The Pioneers captured Reserve High Point team of the day with 29 points.
First-year Lauren Radi shined for the Pioneers claiming the High Point Rider honor for the first time in her career with a first place finish in Intermediate Flat and a second place finish in Open Fences.
Fellow teammate Emma Grimes also picked up her second IHSA show victory at SHU taking first in Limit Flat Section A.
Ciara O'Sullivan took first in Novice Flat with Amanda Cosentino right behind in third.
SHU swept the Intermediate Flat with Lauren Radi, Jillian Pizzi and Mia Poppinga going one, two three in the event.
