MILFORD, Conn.- A dominate day in the pool by the Sacred Heart University swimming and diving program led to a 154-140 victory over LIU on Saturday afternoon.

Of Note:

This is the third meet win for the Pioneers this season.
First-year Rosemery Nieto claimed first two events, in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.79) she hit a season-best time to make her fifth all-time at SHU in the event. She also took the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.95.
Senior Nicole Tingley also took first in a pair of events in the 50-yard freestyle (25.04) and in the 400-yard IM (4:42.63).
Sophomore Olivia McNicholas took first in the 1-meter dive with a score of 220.65.
First-year Caroline Duhamel continued her success in the 1000-yard freestyle taking first for the second time this season with a time of 10:57.77.

The Pioneers will return to action on Friday, December 3 when they compete at the CCSU Invite. Prelims begin at 12:00 p.m. while finals kick-off at 7:00 p.m.
