Box Score LORETTO, Pa. – It was a tale of two halves for the Sacred Heart University women's lacrosse team. The Pioneers built a halftime lead at St. Francis University only to see the Red Flash come back for the 9-7 Northeast Conference victory on Saturday.

Lydia Werlau's third goal of the first half gave SHU a 4-1 advantage with 8:26 remaining. Grace Reinold and Kirsten Barnes added scores as the Pioneers took a 6-2 advantage into the break.
St. Francis stymied the Pioneers for first 15 minutes of the second half as the hosts scored five unanswered goals to grab a 7-6 advantage.
Reinold scored her second goal at the 15:09 mark to tie it, 7-7, but that would be SHU's only score of the second half.
SFU got the eventual game-winning goal at the 11:50 mark then added an insurance goal with just a minute remaining.
