Pioneers hit a season-high .443.
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Looking to bounce back from its first loss to a Northeast Conference opponent in nearly two years, the Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team responded Saturday at Merrimack. The Pioneers blanked the Warriors, 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-17).

Sacred Heart overpowered the Warriors, hitting a season-high .443 – including .577 in the opening frame – while limiting Merrimack to .103. The Pioneers had a 40-24 advantage in digs.
A 5-0 run to break open the first set was highlighted by two Lillian Vargo aces in addition to a kill and block from Mackenzie Eford.
Three different players produced a kill plus an Emma Smallcomb ace got SHU off to a 7-2 lead it wouldn't relinquish in final frame.
For the second night in a row, senior setter Sarah Ciszek just missed a triple double with a match-high 11 kills, 29 assists and eight digs. Sophomore Dominique Felix followed with 10 kills.
