Of Note:
Sacred Heart only got better as the match progressed, hitting .343 and .382 in the third and fourth sets, respectively.
Set two did not start out in the Pioneers' favor as they were down 7-0 before they started to dig themselves out of a hole. Reghan Palanchi came through with a kill to make it 23-23. Dominique Felix added a winner of her own then Sarah Ciszek's ace ended the set.
An early run in the third set gave SHU the cushion it needed then another in the middle of set four allowed the Pioneers to go onto victory.
For the second day in a row, Ciszek produced a triple-double with 41 assists, 10 kills and 11 digs. She has as many triple doubles this season, three, as she did during the abbreviated spring season.
Jasmine Rogers produced a double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs. Graduate transfer Mackenzie Eford had her best match to do date with 10 kills and five blocks.
Ciszek and Rogers were named to the all-tournament team.
