Five Pioneers produce double-digit kills
ALBANY, N.Y. – The Sacred Heart University women's volleyball team stepped out of Northeast Conference play for the final time on Tuesday. The Pioneers won their sixth match in a row by defeating Albany, 3-2 (25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 17-15).

Of Note:
After winning the first set, the Pioneers trailed 21-17 in set two. Jasmine Rogers came through with three kills and Albany committed three errors to give SHU a 24-22 advantage. Brooke Jeffrey's kill ended the set.
The Great Danes came back to take the next two sets and pulled even, 7-7, in the fifth and deciding set. Rogers ripped off three winners and Alana Felix added an ace to give SHU an 11-8 margin. Albany didn't go down without a fight, evening the set at 15-15, but the hosts committed a pair of miscues to give SHU the match.
Six players accounted for all of SHU's kills with five of them reaching double digits. Leading the way was Camryn Luginbuhl with 14 winners while Jeffrey was one back.
Sacred Heart tied a season-high with 12 blocks as Reghan Palanchi, Kate Anderson and Sarah Ciszek had a half dozen each.
The Pioneers nearly hit .300 with Ciszek and Anderson over .400.
