Pryor Sweeps NEC Weekly Honors

The first year grabs first co-Player of the Week and fourth Rookie of the Week
SOMERSET, N.J.— Sacred Heart University women's basketball guard Ny'Ceara Pryor picked up her first Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week nod and fourth Rookie of the Week honor on Monday.
The Baltimore, Md. native tabbed back-to-back 20+ point performances. Pryor has scored 20 or more in four contests so far this season. The guard had 22 points against Bryant followed by a season-high 27 points at Fairfield. Her season high is the most points made in a game by a rookie in program history since Gabrielle Washington'15 had 27 at Bryant on Feb. 15, 2012, and in the NEC since 2020.
Pryor shares Co-Player of the Week with Stonehill's Emily Bramanti.
Sacred Heart returns to the Pitt Center on Sunday to host Vermont for a 2 p.m. tipoff.
