ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The Sacred Heart University men's ice hockey teams season came to a close on Sunday as they dropped game three of the Atlantic Association Quarterfinals 3-1 to RIT.

- The Pioneers scored the opening goal of the game with 16:28 remaining in the first period coming from Austin Magera to give SHU a 1-0 lead.
- RIT responded in the second period as they tallied a goal 16:59 into the second period off the stick of Kobe Walker to even the score at 1-1.
- RIT then found the back of the net twice in the third period coming 2:06 and 2:44 into the period off the sticks of Carter Wilkie and Dan Willet to give the Tigers a 3-1 lead.
- SHU caps off their 2021-22 campaign with a 15-18-4 overall record and an 11-12-3-1 AHA record.
- Neil Shea was the leading point getter during the season leading SHU with 11 goals and 20 assists for 31 points.
