After a slow start in the first two innings,
Steven Schoen blasted his second career home run over the right field fence to lead off the top of the third.
After the Eagles tied the game in the bottom of the third, SHU regained the lead three frames later. The Red & White took a 2-1 lead from
Ryan Donnelly's single to left field that brought
Justin Jordan home.
Trailing 4-2 in the eighth the pioneers put two runners on base with one out, but BC reliever John West came on to get the Eagles out of the jam.
