Of Note:
Trailing 4-2, the Red & White took a one-run lead in the top of the seventh initiated by Sam Mongelli's sacrifice fly to centerfield to bring home Trevor Fagan.

After Ryan Donnelly doubled to shift Justin Jordan to third, the Warriors replaced their starting pitcher with Brayden Howrigan. The reliever was also chased out of the game when Joe Emerson walked to load the bases on the following at-bat.

The cycle repeats as the third pitcher was shooed off the mound one batter later when George Sutherland walked to allow Justin Jordan to knot the game at four apiece.

The fourth pitcher came in for the final two batters. Robert Farruggio reached first on an error by the shortstop and allowed Donnelly to cross the plate to put the Pioneers up, 5-4.

Steven Schoen opened the scoring when he cranked one out of the park in the third inning for his second homer in back-to-back games.

Merrimack rallied back in the bottom of the seventh with a pair of runs to take the final lead.

Chase Jeter put in six innings of work with a season-high six strikeouts.
