Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team topped the defending Northeast Conference Champions, 4-3. SHU's win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Tuesday moves the Pioneers to 2-4 in league play.

SHU's top-three singles spots all posted wins to clinch the victory. At number one, Wibmer erased a one-set deficit when he won back-to-back sets, 6-3. The senior remains undefeated in conference play as he is now 3-0. Apostolou won convincingly in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-3. The conference's Rookie of the Week outlasted his opponent in a second-set tiebreaker, 7-6(3), for SHU's winning point.
The Pioneers host Saint Francis on Sunday for Senior Day at 4 p.m.
