Rugby Season Comes to Close with 25-12 Loss to Harvard

SHU fell in the quarterfinals of the USA Rugby 7's Championships
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Sacred Heart University women's rugby teams' season came to a close on Sunday as they fell to Harvard by a score of 25-12 in the quarterfinals of the USA Rugby 7's Collegiate Championships.
Harvard took an early 15-0 lead in the first half as they tallied three tries. The Pioneers answered back shortly in the second half scoring 12 points but was not enough as Harvard added 10 points to their lead to result in the 25-12 loss.
The Pioneers wrap up the championships with a 1-4 record while tallying an 11-21-1 overall record throughout the season.
