BETHLEHEM, Pa.— Kaylee Stenderowicz had a pair of first place finishes to highlight Sacred Heart women's track and field at the Lehigh Angry Birds Challenge.
In the long jump, Stenderowicz was first at 5.37m and, in the triple jump was at 11.44m.
Tara Brody was also in the top-five in both the long jump (5.05m) and triple jump (10.77).
Magdalena Brogioli was tied for first in the high jump at 1.55m and was fifth in the long jump at 5.04m.
Nicole Szilagyi was second in the 60m hurdles with a 9.23 time. In the 5000,
Kelly Parker was second overall at 18:48.57.
Madeline Archangelo placed second in the shot put at 11.02m, and
Taylor Moore was fourth at 10.05m.
In the 60m
Maya Mocarski took third place with a time of 7.95.
Alisha Stadnicki also had a third-place finish in the 3000m at 10:49.72.
The Pioneers had three, top-five finishers.
Jessica Pigott was third at 5:30.82,
Kathleen Delaney followed behind in fourth place at 5:40.23, and
Emma Doran was fifth overall at 5:44.76.
In the pole vault,
Jenna Engels was tied for third at 3.50m, and
Sydney Abitanto finished fifth at 3.35m.
Tori Chorzepa had a fourth-place finish in 1:03.78 in the 400m.
Taylor Moore and
Brianna Diaz were fourth and fifth in the weight throw. Moore was fourth with a 12.13m throw, and Diaz finished fifth with an 11.22m throw.
Arianna Bartholomew finished fifth overall in the triple jump at 10.40m.
Sacred Heart is back in action on Friday, January 20th, at the NYC Gotham Cup.
