Three Pios post season-best times
BOSTON, Mass. — An impressive showing saw three Pioneers run season-lows as the Sacred Heart University women's cross country team took seventh overall at the NEICAAA Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The Pios were led by graduate student Angela Kaiser, who finished the five-kilometer course with a season-low 19:16, slotting in at 22nd overall. Junior Kelly Parker placed second on the team and 31st overall with a season-low 19:29, while defending NEC Rookie of the Week Grace DelGiorno finished 42nd overall, posting her second-consecutive personal best at 19:43. Grace Sousa rounded out the top-four finishers for the Pioneers with a time of 19:54.
