SHU first topped the Hawks on Wednesday, earning a 59-50 victory over the defending CAA champs on the road. The Pios then handed Hofstra a 63-60 defeat in their 2023-24 home opener at the Pitt Center on Sunday afternoon.
Pryor led the Pioneers with 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. The reigning NEC Player, Defensive Player and Rookie of the Year played 79 out of 80 minutes over the two contests, with her 40-minute performance against Monmouth marking the first time in her career that she did not see the bench.
