Ohio State, Quinnipiac, Harvard, Merrimack at Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - There's nothing like NCAA playoff hockey, especially when teams are trying to earn a trip to the Frozen Four at Tampa in April.
You can see Big Ten power Ohio State, Hockey East tournament finalist Merrimack and national and ECAC powers Quinnipiac and Harvard at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport this Friday in a pair of national semifinal showdowns.
For the second time in three years, Sacred Heart University is hosting the NCAA Men's Hockey East Regional at Total Mortgage Arena. This time, however, the Pioneers are doing it with Yale.
Friday's winners get a day to rest before meeting in a 4 p.m. Sunday finale for the right to represent the regional in the 2023 Frozen Four on April 6 and 8 in Tampa, Fla.
Friday's Schedule
No. 2 Harvard vs. No. 3 Ohio State, 2 p.m.
No. 1 Quinnipiac vs. No. 4 Merrimack, 5:30 p.m.
Sunday
Championship Game, 4 p.m.
