Box Score WORCESTER, Mass.— The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team was edged, 4-3, at Holy Cross in its final match of the regular season on Tuesday.
 
The Pioneers started out with a 1-0 lead after earning the doubles point.
 
The Crusaders tied the match before graduate student Alberto Mello earned a straight-set victory to give the Pios a 2-1 advantage.
 
Junior Lefteri Apostolou scored another straight-set win at No. 1 to make it 3-2.
 
Unfortunately, Holy Cross took the final two singles matches to bring the contest to its final score.

Up next, SHU will be the 3^rd in the 2023 Northeast Conference Tournament and will play No. 6 Merrimack in the first round on Friday at 9 a.m.
