Of Note:
The Pioneers battled through a physical first half to come out on top of the Saints. The teams combined 23 fouls, 15 in the first half.

The Pioneers saw their first goal of the season from a loose ball, recovered by Alex Almuzara who tapped the ball into the right foot of Gallego with about 10 minutes remaining in the first half. The Saints' keeper, Bennet Glinder, was able to get a foot on the ball, but not enough for the stop.

Although, the Saints out-shot the Pioneers 9-7 and 3-2 shots on goal, Sacred Heart's back line of defense showed domination over the Saint's, especially in the second half, not letting any of the seven second-half shots make its' way to the back of the net.

Graduate keeper Andrew Hammersley recorded three saves.

Siena was unable to capitalize on their possessions due to offside calls and the Pioneers strong defense.
