The Pioneers remain undefeated in the Northeast Region with 12-0 mark

SPRINGFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University women's wrestling team closed out its dual meet portion of its 2023-24 schedule with a 39-7 road victory over the Golden Bears of Western New England College Friday afternoon.

Notables:

The Pioneers wrap up the winter campaign with a program-best 17-3 dual meet record.
SHU also closes out the season with an undefeated record of 12-0 in the Northeast Region.
Ahsia Torres, Alexandra Fitzgerald, Aliza Leander, and Cara Broadus won by tech falls, while Nohea Moniz and Madison Sandquist won by falls.
Aaliyah Payne-Parris and Madeline Hodges won their designated weight class by forfeit.
