Ivan Breki Sigurdsson picked up his first collegiate goal.

The Pioneers and Bulldogs shared possession and opportunities in the first half of play. Yale pressured the Pios early in the game with back-to-back shots on goal but saw equal opportunity for the remainder of the half.
Yale struck first in the 35
th minute from a corner service taken by Jonathan Seidman that met the head of TJ Presthus.
Just four minutes into the second half, Yale's Joseph Farouz drew Hammersly out of the net and passed the ball to Simon Adjakple who sent the ball in on the ground in the left corner of the goal to make it 2-0 Bulldogs.

Ivan Breki Sigurdsson secured the lone goal for the Pios in the 57
th minute off
Sam McCann's deflected shot, putting the ball in the top left of the net to cut Yale's lead to 2-1.
Unfortunately for the Pioneers, the Bulldogs scored goals in the 74th and 76th minutes to secure a 4-1 victory.
The Pios out-shoot the Bulldogs 11-to-8 and dominated 8-3 in corner opportunities.
