PIONEER FIRSTS
Sacred Heart saw a lot of firsts in its sweep of RIT over the weekend.
Stephane Huard kicked things off with his first collegiate goal in the opener to lead SHU to a 1-0 victory. In the second game,
Vitaly Levyy also netted his first collegiate goal, while
Noah Ellis and
Ray Fust both netted their first goals as Pioneers.

Felix Trudeau for the team lead.
THE BIG 5-0
In the 6-1 win on Saturday, senior defenseman
Mikey Adamson opened the game's scoring with a goal 6:58 into the bout. In his three years as a Pioneer and one season at UMass, the Quincy, Mass., native has 18 goals, 32 assists for 50 points. Adamson came into the season fourth in the country in career goals by a defenseman with 17.
LAST TIME OUT
The Pioneers swept RIT in a road Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) series this past weekend. SHU took the first contest 1-0, with Huard's power play goal in the first being the difference. The Pios held off a late rush by the Tigers, with
Ajeet Gundarah saving all 22 shots he faced, and the team finished with 25 blocks. Game two started like game one as SHU left the first period with a one-goal lead. Unlike the opener, the Pios continued to add to their advantage in the second and third periods, scoring two in both frames to ice a 6-1 win. Adamson opened the scoring, while Trudeau potted the game-winner. Huard, Levyy, Ellis and Fust also scored goals for the Pios. Gundarah put up another outstanding performance with 27 saves to earn his second win of the season.
SCOUTING THE SKYHAWKS
Stonehill comes into the Saturday game with a 0-4-0 overall record. The Skyhawks dropped both ends of the home weekend series against Lake Superior St. before suffering defeats to No. 14 UMass and Army the following weekend. Sophomore forward Billy Renfrew leads the way for the Skyhawks with four points on four assists. Fellow sophomore Cole Melady paces the team in goals with two. Connor Androlewicz and Linards Lipskis have split goaltending duties, with Androlewicz playing 148:38 minutes and Lipskis 90:33.
ALL-TIME SERIES
