Pazienza earns award for fifth time this season
EDISON, N.J—For the fifth time this season, Sacred Heart men's lacrosse graduate goalie Alex Pazienza has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Defensive Player of the Week.
Pazienza made 12 saves for the Pios and tied for the team lead in ground balls with four in SHU's 12-7 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday. He has recorded eight games with double-digit save performances.
Sacred Heart will be back in action at home on Saturday, April 19 at noon against Mount St. Mary's.
