How it Happened:
It only took 4:28 to see the first goal of the match. Stony Brook's Ryan Farr had a behind the back heel pass to Caleb Danquah, who put it in the back of the net as the Seawolves struck first.
Sacred Heart had 16 shots to the Seawolves' 15, with both teams having five shots on goal.
Sacred Heart came out of the halftime break with a bang. In the 52nd minute, captain David Garica Gallego scored the equalizer off a right foot shot. Axier Zeberio Guereno and Eli Stein got their first assists of the season on the Garcia Gallego goal. In the 59th minute, Danny Losfablos had a shot that forced Stony Brook keeper Heider Hermannsson to make an athletic save to keep the match at a draw.
Stony Brook found the back of the net again in the 82th minute thanks to Kristoffer Aaorflot, as he found the bottom center of the goal to score the decider.
