Thievon Takes Home Second Consecutive MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Kyran saved 13 shots in two games
Fairfield, CT – Junior goalkeeper Kyran Thievon of the Sacred Heart University women's soccer team was named this week's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for the second consecutive week.
Over two games, Thievon made 13 saves in her 135 minutes. Her standout performance came on Saturday against Manhattan, where she recorded 10 saves to help lead the Pioneers to a 4-0 shutout victory. The clean sheet marked her fourth of the season.
This week, on Saturday September 20th, the Pioneers travel across town to Fairfield University. Thievon looks to continue her stellar goalkeeping skills to propel the Pioneers to yet another conference victory.
