Orlando, Fla. – For the second-straight year and the sixth time in program history, the Sacred Heart Pioneers are UCA National Champions, taking home the title in the All-Girl Division 1 Game Day division.
The multi-day event began on Friday, January 16 at Walt Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fla. Competing against 30 teams, SHU captured a near-perfect 97.83 out of 100 points in their performance, taking home their sixth title in seven years, all under head coach CJ Rodriguez.
"We are extremely proud of our student-athletes and honored to bring home our sixth national title," said Rodriguez. "They approach every moment with nothing but a good time, and it clearly shows on the national mat."
Sacred Heart won its first title in 2020 in Division 1 All-Girl before following up with Open All-Girl Game Day national titles in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025. In 2024, SHU came within hundredths of a point of first and second places.
