Colchester, Vt. – Sacred Heart Women's Ice Hockey team dominates from start to finish, with Holm's timely goals and relentless pressure securing a 3–2 win over Saint Michael's.

How it Happened:
- Sacred Heart settled in after an early Saint Michael's goal, responding late in the opening period when Bria Holm scored assisted by Maddie Smith with just over a minute remaining to pull the Pioneers even. Petruno anchored the effort in net with 15 saves, while SHU controlled play offensively, outshooting Saint Michael's 40–22 overall and 20–16 on goal, using sustained pressure to dictate the pace despite a slight edge for the Purple Knights in faceoffs and blocked shots.
- Sacred Heart continued to control the game, as Addie Bowlby netted goal assisted by Roche and Koman to extend the Pioneers' momentum. SHU dominated possession throughout the period, overwhelming Saint Michael's with a 46–12 advantage in shots and a 21–7 edge on goal, while narrowly winning faceoffs 11–10 in the frame. Overall, the Pioneers held a commanding 86–34 lead in total shots and 42–23 on goal, with faceoffs even at 20–20, underscoring SHU's sustained pressure and control.
- Sacred Heart secured a 3–2 win in a tightly contested third period, with both goals coming midway through the frame. Bria Holm broke through first, finishing a setup from Jussila and Carroll, before Saint Michael's answered shortly after. From there, the Pioneers took full control, dominating play with a 40–5 advantage in shots and 21–2 on goal during the period, while edging faceoffs 11–9. SHU's sustained pressure carried through the game, as the Pioneers closed out the victory with commanding totals of 126–39 shots, 63–25 on goal, and a 31–29 edge in faceoffs.
