Holm Takes Home NEWHA Player of the Week

This is Holm's first conference award of the season
Fairfield, Conn – Following a two-goal performance against No. 3 Minnesota, Ella Holm was named the New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
A strong Minnesota squad tested Holm and the Pioneers throughout the weekend. Despite the challenge, Holm stood out, recording a two-goal performance on Saturday night, with both goals coming on the power play. That earned Holm her first weekly award of the season.
Holm will look to carry this high level of play into the coming weekend as the Pioneers travel to Franklin Pierce to continue conference play.
