FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University softball team suffered a pair of losses to Fairfield in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) doubleheader at Pioneer Park on Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the opening game, SHU celebrated Senior Day, honoring its seven seniors in a pregame ceremony. Emily Heath, Nicole Henke, Sydney Hess, Natalie Aiello, Kaelyn Freed, Charlene Davis and Sam Kowalski were all recognized for their contributions to Sacred Heart softball over their four seasons.
