NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University field hockey team fell 3-0 on the road to No. 19 Yale on Friday evening at Johnson Field.

Of Note:
Yale took an early 2-0 lead after the first quarter, but the teams were scoreless in the second quarter. Yale held its two-goal advantage heading into halftime.
The Bulldogs found the back of the net early in the third quarter, taking a 3-0 lead.
Late in the fourth quarter, Yale was awarded a penalty stroke, but sophomore goalkeeper Ruby Butler made the stop to keep the score at 3-0, which would hold as the final score.
Sacred Heart recorded four shots on goal and five penalty corners, while Butler made all five of her saves in the second half.
