Head Coach Tiffany Hajdasz announced the addition of Caitlin Ader as the first Assistant Coach of the Equestrian program on July 18, 2016. Ader came to Fairfield following time as a Manager at Heritage Farm in Katonah, New York as well as an Assistant Trainer at Evenstride Farm in Byfield, Massachusetts.
A native of Palm Coast, Florida, Ader graduated from Texas Christian University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communication and a minor in Psychology. She competed for the Horned Frogs all four years at the NCEA National Championship and Big 12 Conference Championships. During her senior campaign, she represented the Frogs at the Collegiate Equitation Challenge at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. Ader became the first student-athlete in program history to earn All-Big 12 Conference honors in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences. Ader was a member of the 2014 NCEA Academic Honor Roll and Academic All-Big 12 Equestrian team.
Ader had a standout junior season in which she earned Second-Team NCEA All-American accolades. She claimed her first All-America certificate in Equitation on the Flat after going 9-5-1 on the year with three Most Outstanding Player honors. By earning Second-Team honors, Ader became the first Horned Frog in school history to earn NCEA Second-Team All-America recognition in Equitation on the Flat. She was also named to the 2013 Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 Equestrian Team.”
