In 2025, Curras helped guide Sacred Heart to an undefeated MAAC regular-season championship with a 7–0–3 record in conference, advancing to the MAAC Conference Final. Sacred Heart concluded the season ranked No. 49 nationally in the RPI and was listed in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Top 10 for four weeks. The Pioneers broke multiple Division I program records, including an 11-match unbeaten streak and 32 goals scored. The team earned five First Team All-Conference selections, tied for the most in the nation in 2025. Sacred Heart also claimed two major MAAC awards, as Daniel Losfablos was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and Luca Marinelli earned MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year honors. Aidan Borra (’24) also signed professionally with Westchester SC in USL League One.
In 2024, Curras helped guide the Pioneers to their third consecutive postseason appearance. With an overall record of 8–6–2, 3-3-2 in conference. Sacred Heart broke the Division I program record for goals scored with 27 and was ranked as high as No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region. David Garcia Gallego earned First Team All-MAAC honors, while Matthias Dick and Sam McCann were named Third Team All-Conference selections. Andrew Hammersley signed professionally with Westchester SC in USL League One and Ivan Breki Sigurdsson signed professionally with Selfloss in the Icelandic second division.
In 2023, Sacred Heart made history again by reaching its first-ever Conference Final. The team finished fourth in the NEC with an overall record of 6–8–5, 3-2-4 in conference. Etienne Murugarren earned First Team All-NEC honors, while sophomore forward David Garcia Gallego received his second consecutive Second Team All-NEC selection. First-year forward Alex Almuzara was named to the All-Rookie Team.
In 2022, Curras help guide the Pioneers to their first Division I postseason victory in program history with a 1–0 win over Saint Francis in the 2022 NEC Tournament First Round. The team finished with an overall record of 7–9–1, 4–3–1 in conference. First-year player David Garcia Gallego and sophomore Etienne Murugarren were selected to the NEC Second Team. Gallego also joined first-years Koke Gracia Martinez and Javier Lopez Cayuela on the All-Rookie Team.
Prior to his collegiate career, Curras spent his whole youth career with his hometown club, CD Mostoles, going through the age groups and making his first team debut at the age of 17. Curras was part of the team that was promoted to the 4th tier of Spanish football in 2014 for the first time in the club’s history.
Curras graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management at Sacred Heart University (2019), and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2021.
He resides in Trumbull with his fiancée, Amanda.
