WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Sacred Heart University field hockey team suffered its first loss of the season, as the Pioneers fell to Georgetown, 2-0, on the road Friday afternoon. Kelsy Hopkins and Kayla Bedel-Franklin led the way with two shots on-goal apiece in the loss.
The Pioneers return to action on Sunday, September 2, when the Pioneers travel to take on Towson at 1 p.m. in Baltimore, Maryland.
