
NFHCA Announces Division I National Academic Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced its three academic awards from the fall season, with Sacred Heart well represented.
Fifteen Pioneers were named to the 2025 Division I National Academic Squad. In addition, three student-athletes earned Scholar of Distinction honors, and Sacred Heart received the 2025 National Academic Team Award.
The NFHCA National Academic Squad recognizes undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher through the fall semester and are nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
Scholar of Distinction honors are awarded to student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester.
The National Academic Team Award is presented to programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.50 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
