
Power Records 14 Saves in Field Hockey's 1-0 OT Loss at Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - The Sacred Heart University field hockey team fell to NEC-foe Fairfield, 1-0 on the road Friday afternoon in the conference opener. Junior goalkeeper Hailey Power made 14 saves in the loss.
With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 1-10 on the season and 0-1 in the NEC, while the Stags improve to 8-2 on the season and 1-0 in the NEC with the win. SHU will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 11 when the Pioneers play host to the University of California at 7 p.m. at Johnson Field.
