Pryor tallies second 20+ point performance
BOCA RATON, Fla.—The Sacred Heart University women's basketball team gave its best effort coming down the stretch but dropped its contest to FAU, 68-66, on Saturday.

The score remained close throughout the entire contest. After FAU scored five unanswered points to start the fourth quarter, senior Olivia Tucker drained a three that sent Sacred Heart on a 14-4 run. The Pioneers ultimately tied the game at 64 on a three from graduate student Sajada Bonner with 1:17 left.
First-year Ny'Ceara Pryor shot a layup and got her miss with just 37 seconds left before losing possession as a result of a jump ball. FAU notched a layup on the other end at the 29-second mark.
Pryor and senior Olivia Tucker attempted shots to help Sacred Heart tie the game but missed. The Owls ended up scoring two free throws to pull away with the victory.
Sacred Heart shot 35.3% (6-17) from the three-point line and 70% (14-20) at the charity stripe, but the Owls outscored the Pioneers in the paint, 44-28.
Pryor was one-point shy of tying her career-high as she finished with a team-leading 23 points. Bonner and Tucker both posted 10 points apiece.
