- This will be the seventh meeting between Sacred Heart and Army.
- The Pioneers will look for its first victory against the Black Knights since 1979.
- Sacred Heart is 15-22 against opponents in the Patriot League. The last time the Pioneers earned a victory over a team in the league was against Lehigh in 2014.
- Sacred Heart is second in the Northeast Conference in offensive rebounds with 13.0 per game and third in rebounds overall at 37.1.
- Ny'Ceara Pryor picked up her third-straight NEC Rookie of the Week honors on Nov. 28. The guard is leading the Pioneers with 15.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 4.3 steals per game in her inaugural college season. Pryor also leads the nation and NEC with 30 steals.
- Carly Stroemel is tied for first in the NEC in blocks (7) and blocks per game (1.0).
- Mannetti enters her 10th season as head coach. She holds a 128-139 (.479) overall record and 95-67 (.586) in NEC play.
- Sacred Heart was picked to finish sixth in the NEC Preseason Poll.
