Elmore Grabs NEWHA Goaltender of the Week

Three Skaters Get Honor Roll
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Molly Elmore's 1-0 shutout win at Saint Michael's Friday night marked her third victory in her last four starts. Sacred Heart University's defense helped Elmore to record 12 saves on her way to receiving NEWHA Goaltender of the Week.
Elmore has two shutouts on the season and ranks second in the NEWHA in goals-against average with 2.28 on the season. This marks the second time this season Elmore has been recognized by NEWHA as Goaltender of the Week, her first time winning coming on October 11.
Three more Pioneers secured honorable mention across other nominations for NEWHA awards this week. Katie Keenan was recognized with honor roll status as player of the week for her two goals in Saturday's win at Saint Michael's. Erika Lizotte scored a goal over the weekend to get recognition for defensive player of the week honorable mention while Julianna Koman received honorable mention for rookie of the week for her overall play in two games against Saint Michael's over the weekend.
