Kohut Earns Fourth Rookie of the Week Honor

First-year Nancy Kohut threw strikes in 67% of her shots
SOMERSET, N.J. – For the fourth time this year, first-year Nancy Kohut earned Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honors. The league office announced the weekly awards on Wednesday following the second NEC tournament of the season.
Duquesne's Olivia Farwell rounded out the weekly awards with a Player of the Week nod.
Kohut started and bowled all seven games over the weekend from start to finish. The Garnerville, N.Y. native led the team in almost every statistical category as she threw strikes in 67% of her shots (47-70). Kohut finished the weekend second across all NEC teams with a 22.23 frame average.
The Pioneers take a break this weekend but are back in action at the Mid Winter Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark. on February 18-20.
