Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn. – The Sacred Heart University men's tennis team fell, 6-1, to St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday night in Trumbull. The Pioneers drop to 3-10 on the year and 1-3 against the Northeast Conference.
Lefteri Apostolou picked up the lone victory of the day for the Red & White at first singles. After winning the first set, 6-4, Apostolou dropped the second, 6-3, to go into a third set. The sophomore outlasted Gustavo Pinho, 12-10, in the deciding tiebreaker as he picked up his first career win at first singles.
Sacred Heart will host Boston University on Sunday at 6 p.m.
