Healy Competes in Heptathlon on Day 1 of IC4A/ECAC Championships

BOSTON— Sacred Heart University men's track & field member Ben Healy placed seventh in the heptathlon on day one of the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships on Friday.
The junior posted a 6.17 leap in the long jump for a score of 624 points. Healy went on to earn sixth in the 60m dash (7.38 (752 points) and high jump (1.80m (matched PR) (627 points). In the shot put, he threw for 9.26m, notching 441 points for a ninth-place finish.
Healy will compete in the 60m hurdles, pole vault and 1000m on Friday.
Up next, Sacred Heart competes on day two of the IC4A/ECAC Indoor Championships on Saturday.
