Men's Track and Field Turned in Solid Results at the 49th ECAC and 104th IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships

Two program records were broken
Boston, Mass. – The Sacred Heart University men's track and field team turned in solid results at the 49thECAC and 104th IC4A Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
First year, Ian Crowley impressed in the 60m hurdle event. Crowley finished with a time of 8.27 seconds, which was good enough for fifth place.
Francisco Amore delivered an outstanding performance in the pole vault, clearing a mark of 4.70 meters to secure a fifth-place finish. His mark also set a new program record in the event, surpassing his own previous record.
The Pioneers saw their strongest performances in the relay events. Rafael Mahario, Colin Brown, Connor Meikle, and Gavin Alvarez highlighted the day in the 4x400-meter relay, finishing third overall with a time of 3:14.06. Their performance set a new program record in the event.
The next relay event was the 4x800m, where Ryan Ober, Joshua Voorhees, Jacob Strain, and Liam Keish finished fifth overall. They finished in a time of 7:48.21.
Up Next:
The Pioneers will have a two-week break before heading to New York to compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22.
