Pioneers head to the MAAC Championships on May 15
SHELTON, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University women's rowing team wrapped up the regular season at Beacon Point Marine against UConn on Sunday.

- The Pioneers 1st Varsity 8 boat took first over UConn with a time of 6:37.7.
- SHU took second and third in the Varsity 4 boats as the A boat crossed the finish line with a time of 7:51.6 while the B boat finished with a time of 8:14.0.
- The 2nd Varsity 8 boat placed second with a time of 7:03.7 while the 3rd Varsity 8 boat finished the day with a time of 7:37.6 for a third place finish.
- The Pioneers honored their seniors prior to the races.
