Rowing Embarks on 2022 MAAC Championships

FAIRFIELD, Conn.- The Sacred Heart University rowing team embarks on the 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, N.J. on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Fans can catch all the action on ESPN3.
The Pioneers will be sending in four boats which feature the 1st Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, 1st Varsity 4 boat and 2nd Varsity 4 boat
The 1st Varsity 8 boat features Grace Arpin, Saige Harper, Emily Iannantuoni, Micaela Deutsch Lucia Catino, Kristen Duffy, Emma Scheibl, Amber Fischer, Christine Thorp.
The 2nd Varsity 8 boat consists of Marissa Nicoloro, Jordan Italia, Ava Manzo, Alyssa Paredes, Helena Medici, Katherine Burnside, Emma Dasilva, Caitlin Mahoney, and Mia Purcell.
The 1st Varsity 4 boat highlights Samantha Dassatti, Nicole Uttaro, Liz Luttman, Adriana Lamano
and Marissa Urda.
The 2nd Varsity 4 boat will include Sydney Kaiser, Vanessa Rodas-Dehollan, Kelsey Hottenstein, Lilly Wilson and Jessica Wallace.
The Pioneers enter the championships with a third place finish at the Spring Mets and competed in seven races during the spring season. SHU placed sixth at the MAAC Championships a season ago which was the best finish since 2010.
The Pioneers will be sending in four boats which feature the 1st Varsity 8, 2nd Varsity 8, 1st Varsity 4 boat and 2nd Varsity 4 boat
