SHU Moves Up in Final Round of Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, CONN. – The Sacred Heart University women's golf team improved on the final day of the Yale Invitational to move up the leaderboard. The Pioneers finished 10th at the Yale Golf Course.
Sacred Heart carded a 302 in the final round for a 908 (301-305-302) to finish seven strokes behind Toledo. Harvard's 848 was four strokes better than Maryland.
Pacing the Pioneers for the second day in a row was junior Chantal El Chaib as she finished tied for 28th at 222 (73-75-74). Two strokes back was senior Kailee Welch with a 255 (75-74-76). Junior Margot Rouquette (77-81-76) and senior Chelsea Thakkar (82-76-76) had their best round of the weekend on Sunday to tie at 234. Sophomore Jensie Nicholas finished one stroke back at 235 (76-80-79) and one back of her was Maya Robilio (77-76-83) as she competed as an individual
